TAMMIE G. KRAUSKOPF, ESQ.
Ms. Krauskopf is a member of the
International Trade Client Service Group. She represents clients
regarding various import and export issues, including valuation, foreign
trade zones, duty drawback, bonded warehouses, TIBs, NAFTA, country of
origin determinations pertaining to marking and duty preference
programs. Her experience also includes customs fraud and seizure cases,
prior disclosures, protests, ruling requests and customs audits. Ms.
Krauskopf has participated in internal compliance reviews and in-house
training seminars and has assisted companies in the development of
internal compliance programs, both proactively and in response to
inquiries and reviews initiated by governmental agencies.
Prior to joining Bryan Cave, Ms. Krauskopf was special counsel in the
International Trade Department of
another Chicago law firm. She spent eight years as an attorney with the
Department of the Treasury, U.S.
Customs Service. Ms. Krauskopf also has consulting experience in the
private sector with a big five
accounting firm. Her master’s degree is in public and international
affairs. Ms. Krauskopf is currently an
adjunct professor of Import/Export Law at the John Marshall Law School.
